C. V. WILSON WAS BORN June 15, 1903, and died Oct. 8, 1994. He came to us from Louisville Male H.S. He was on the track and wrestling squads, the BRIC-A-BRAC and NASSAU HERALD, and the Philadelphian Society. He was president of Clio, on the debating team, a member of the Polity Club, and a member of Cloister Inn. He graduated with highest honors in English.

After Harvard Business, he went into the furniture business in Louisville. He became captain of an artillery battery in the Natl. Guard and was en route to Hawaii a few days before Pearl Harbor, ending the war as a major in the Air Corps.

He served as the head of the Sunday school of Portland Church of Christ, and after he retired from business in 1956, he went to divinity school for a year, then became the church's pastor.

He served a term as president of the Louisville Alumni Assn. He was a loyal member of the class, assisting in our memorial services at Reunions. He recited from memory the lengthy class poem composed by Charlie Robins at class gatherings, and was a self-taught piano player.

He was married in the Episcopal Cathedral in Louisville to Alexina Robinson in 1930. He is survived by daughter Frances Longenecker, son Alexander, and five grandchildren.
