TED O’HARA DIED after a long illness in Little Compton, R.I., July 23, 1994. He was 91. Born in N.Y.C., he came to us from Berkshire School. At Princeton, he was a member of Tower, but he left us in 1923 to study architecture at Columbia, obtaining his degree in 1927. He won the Schermerhorp fellowship for study in Europe, and later began working in N.Y.C. During WWII, he served as a construction engineer on the War Production Board in Washington. From 1945 until he retired to Little Compton in 1975, he was an architectural partner in O'Hara, Hedlander, Halasz and Edson, in Greenwich, Conn. A memorial service was held for him at the United Congregational Church in Little Compton, where he had been a deacon.

He was a member of the University Club of New York, the New Canaan Country Club, the Sakkonett Golf Club of Little Compton, the America Inst. of Architects, and a trustee emeritus of Berkshire School. He remained a loyal member of the class and attended several reunions. He is survived by his widow, Theodora Oakes; sons David and Charles; daughters Anne and Katherine; and six grandchildren. He was also the husband of the late Eleanor Wood O'Hara and brother of the late Robert O'Hara. The class extends its sympathy to Ted's family.
