Body

Charles Anderson of Middletown, N.J., died peacefully Sept. 5, 2010, surrounded by his family at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, N.J.

Born in Princeton, Chuck attended the Lawrenceville School, where he played football, baseball, and wrestled. A member of Cap and Gown Club, he was active in the Campus Fund drive, the Red Cross donor drive, and was a captain in Commons. He played football at Princeton all four years and also received award ribbons from the Princeton Horse Riding Club.

Chuck served two years as a lieutenant in the Navy on the U.S.S. Parrot. He was active in the Navy Reserve for 6 1/2 years before beginning a 30-year career on Wall Street.

Chuck was a proud and generous man who truly loved his family, his country, his Irish/

Swedish heritage, and a variety of sports. He was a dedicated New York Yankees fan.

The class sends sympathy to Lora Jo, his loving wife of 49 years; his daughter, Marcia; his sister, Patricia; and several nieces and nephews.
