Charles J. Koenig Jr. ’38

Body

CHARLIE KOENIG, one of the contingent who joined us from Lawrenceville School, died June 2, 1992, while in London.

He was with us only for freshman year, and then went on to the Univ. of Pennsylvania, where he received his B.S. in economics in 1938. He went into the family Foodbrokerage business in Houston and remained there until retirement, except for the years 194245, when he served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant. We have no other news of him.

Charlie is survived by his widow, the former Alberta Smith, his sister, Celanne Dee; and his sons Charles J. III and Alfred C.
