Body

CHET (LIN) died of throat cancer July 21, 1990, at his home in Mill Valley, Calif. Known to many of us as Lin, he was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., and attended the Deerfield Academy prior to entering Princeton. Lin majored in English and was a member of Tower Club. He will always be remembered as a voracious reader. Following graduation Lin served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard.

His business career included various management and sales positions with Standard Oil of N.J. in Europe and North Africa; Keydata. Corp. in N.Y.; and Xerox Computer Services in N.Y. and Calif. Most recently he was a selfemployed business consultant associated with Williams Associates. Lin was writing a book on small business at the time of his death.

He is survived by his daughter Susan, son David, and his fiancee, Susan Fentress. The Class extends its sincere condolences to the family. His wit and enthusiasm for life will be greatly missed.
