WE HAVE LEARNED only belatedly of Clint's death on Feb. 7, 1987. He prepared at Urbana Univ. School and Princeton Prep. At Princeton he was in Theatre Intime, was treasurer of Clio Hall, and belonged to Court Club. His roommate was Charles Henry Williams. He left Princeton at the end of junior year and went to Franklin and Marshall, whereof Class interesthe played in the first nonPrinceton performance of our Erik Barnouw's OPEN COLLARS.

Clint was involved in book publishing for his whole career, He held various positions with Doubleday' Century, and W.W. Norton, and then became a publisher's representative for a number of houses, including Princeton Univ. Press. He also conducted a weekly radio program in Lynchburg, Va,, and was a frequent contributor to PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY. His wife, Frances Montague, whom he married in 1945, was the proprietor of the Musketeer Book Shop in Lynchburg, They did not have children, and Clint is survived by his brother John, to whom the Class extends sincere sympathy.
