AT 76, CRAIG died of a stroke July 5, 1991. He had homes at Rumson, NJ., and Jamaica, Vt. He prepared at the Newman School and at Philipps Exeter Academy.

At Princeton he majored in politics and was on the varsity swimming, lightweight football, and rugby teams. He was also a university cheerleader and was a member of Quadrangle Club, He was active in our class affairs, having served several terms on its executive committee.

After serving five years in the Navy during WWII in lighterthanair aircraft, he retired in 1945 as lieutenant commander.

His business career from 1936 to 1975 was in investment banking. From 1936 to 1962, he was with the firm of F. Eberstadt and Co. of N.Y.C., becoming a partner in 1954. He then was a founder and the chairman of New York Securities Company from 1962 to 1975. He also had leadership roles with the National Association of Security Dealers, the Bond Club of New York and the Chemical Fund. He was a retired trustee of the Emma Willard School of Troy, N.Y.

Craig was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Maguire, who died in 1978. Surviving are his widow, Mary Ellen Tulp; son,Craig A.; daughters, Michael S., Joy, and Ann S. Carter; brother, Malcolm Douglas; six grandchildren, four step-children, and two step-grandchildren.

Craig excelled in all his endeavors. He had great affection for Princeton and his Class. He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.
