David Arthur Iseman ’17
DAVE ISEMAN died Nov. 16, 1992, in Washington, Penn., where he was born Mar. 24, 1895. He entered Princeton from Berkshire School, Sheffield, Mass. After serving in WWI as a second lieutenant, he entered Harvard Business School, graduating in 1920 with a master's degree in business and administration. For about a year, he was engaged in the early exploration for oil in western Pennsylvania and Kentucky. He then organized and owned the Washington Finance Co., which operated for about 20 years. During WWII and until 1962, he worked for the Universal Cyclops Steel Corp., Bridgeport, Penn. He was affiliated with Washington Federal Savings Bank for over 50 years, serving as VP/director (1953-1963), chairman of the board of First Federal Savings and Loan Assn. (1963-67), and vice-chairman (1968-72). He retired from the board in 1982 and was appointed director emeritus for life. He was a fine amateur photographer and enjoyed traveling. His first wife, Dorothy Kohne, died in 1965. He is survived by his second wife, Elizabeth Ford Crumrine; three daughters; one step-daughter; two step-sons; and 33 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-descendants; to all of whom we send our deepest sympathy.
