DAVID ERICKSON BRICKL *52, aged 64 years, retired physicist at the I.B.M. facilities located in East Fishkill, N.Y., died Aug. 12, 1991, at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. We apologize for the lateness of this memorial tribute. David was born in Baraboo, Wisc., on July 6, 1927. He was awarded his bachelor's degree by Notre Dame Univ. and came to Princeton for graduate study, where he was awarded a master's degree in physics in 1952. In consequence of his academic excellence at Princeton, he was elected to membership in Sigma Xi, the national honorary society for high achievement in the sciences. He was also a member of the Rock Garden Society and the I.B.M. Quarter Century Club. He is survived by a son, Ian D. Brickl, and a daughter, Harriet Brickl. To them we wish to express our sympathies and condolences.
