DAVE DIED Mar. 14, 1992. He had prepared at Western High School. At Princeton he was on the rifle team and was a member of Cloister Inn. His Princeton degree was in engineering, and until 1964 he was director of the Dept, of Sanitary Engineering for the District of Columbia, with responsibility for design, construction, and operation of the city's water and sewer systems.

After retiring from the District and moving to Doncaster, Md., he engaged in private consulting and public service, as chair of the Interstate Commission on the Potomac Basin, chair of the Talbot County Historic Commission, president of the Talbot County Historic Society, member of the board of governors of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club, commander of the Talbot flotilla, member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and vestry of the Old Wye Episcopal Church. he received many awards for work in his professional field. He is survived by his widow, Saranell, whom he married in 1931, and by their son David. The Class extends sincere sympathy to them.
