DENNIS ALAN ALLRED, at the age of 45, died Feb. 23, 1990. He was born on July 23, 1944, in the Chicago suburb of Melrose Park. He pursued his undergraduate education at Yale, receiving a B.A. degree with emphasis in political science in 1966. At Princeton he studied at the Woodrow Wilson School. Upon receiving the degree of master of public administration, he was employed by the U.S. State Department in the U.S. Information Agency. His duties took him to Rio de Janeiro and Santiago, Chile. In 1973, Mr. Allred returned to Chicago and served as director of the International Trade Club and various groups appropriate to his professional education. He then found his way to California, and was engaged in teaching history, U.S. government, and economics. He had no siblings and never married. Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Lillian J. Alfred. To her we extend sincere sympathy.
