Donald G. Ross III ’58

Body

We have been informed by the University that Donald “Sandy” Ross died Feb. 12, 2009, in Claremont, Calif.

Sandy came to us from the Lawrenceville School, where he was active in publications. At Princeton, he was in the French division of the Special Program in European Civilization. Sandy was in the Princeton Outing and Mountaineers clubs, while taking his meals at Prospect Club.

He graduated from law school at the University of California at Berkeley in 1963. From 1974 to 2001 Sandy was an administrative law judge for the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.

To his wife, Marie, whom he married in 1961; his sons, Charles and Mitchell; and his grandchildren, the class extends its belated but most sincere condolences.
