Donald Hope Miller ’29

DON DIED Sept. 19, 1993. He prepared for college at Deerfield, and at Princeton was on the track squad, football squad, and in Glee Club, and was a member of Tower. Don's father, five uncles, and several cousins preceded him as Princetonians. Don started in business but then moved into teaching, becoming headmaster of Newark Academy, then of Germantown Academy, until illness forced his retirement. But he moved to Sarasota, recovered his health, and became headmaster of Gulfstream Academy in Delray, Fla. His wife died it) 1985. He is survived by his son, Malcolm F. '58; a daughter Eileen Sloan; as well as his brother, Francis F. Miller '27. The class extends its sincere sympathy to Don's family.
