DON DIED of cancer at the Princeton Medical Center Apr. 23, 1994. He entered Princeton with us the fall of 1940 after preparing at the Brooks School and Hotchkiss. His father was Norman S. '09. After two years, he left to join the army air corps, where he served as a maintenance engineering officer. After his war service, he returned to Princeton, where he belonged to Charter Club and graduated with honors in economics in 1946.

Don lived in Princeton all his life. In this community, he was known for his friendliness, his kindness, and his love of classical music. He helped organize the Chamber Symphony of Princeton and remained associated with it until his death.

In the business world, Don was an entrepreneur, He helped start and run two New Jersey companies: the Tyzon Co., a producer of zirconium compounds, and later, in the mid '60s, Randomatic, a manufacturer of business machines.

Don is survived by his widow, Fleury; sons Douglas '67 and David; daughters Diana and Cynthia: four stepdaughters, Stacy, Midge, Victoria, and Kelly; two grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and one great­grandchild. To all his family, the class extends its deepest sympathies.
