Donald R. Weaver ’52

Doc came from Mercer (Pa.) High School and roomed with Mike Ely. He left at the end of freshman year and finished his college years at Allegheny College in its Class of 1952. He earned a medical degree at Temple University and practiced general medicine in Titusville, Pa., from 1957 to 1962. He did a residency in clinical pathology at the Cleveland Clinic from 1962 until 1967 and then served as chair of the pathology department at the Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pa., until 1991.

Doc died May 6, 2019. He is survived by his son, Alan, to whom the class offers condolences.
