DREW STEPHEN MAY, retired State Dept. Foreign Service officer, died on Mar. 24, 1993, in Arlington, Va., as a result of a heart attack. Born in Oklahoma City on July 7, 1947, he studied at the Univ. of Oklahoma and received his bachelor's degree in political science from Yale. He studied at Princeton in the Woodrow Wilson School during the years 197071, and then joined the State Dept. in Washington. Drew saw duty in Italy, Japan, Panama, Laos, and Thailand. He was an enthusiastic traveler and an art collector. In January of 1993, he retired because of failing health. He never married. Surviving family include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren S.; his sister, Kathleen Kempf; and a brother, H. Patrick. To his parents and his siblings we extend sincere condolences in this loss of a most promising young man in his prime years.
