E. Robinson Little ’25

ROBIN LITTLE died Sept. 27, 1993. He was born in N.Y.C. June 8, 1904, and prepared at Bernard School. At Princeton, he was on the board of the PRINCETON TIGER and the NASSAU HERALD, was chairman of our class motionpicture committee, and a member of Charter.

After going to Harvard Business School, Robin sold advertising for PAW and worked for J. Waltef Thompson Advertising. He then joined TIME magazine, served in the foundations of TIDE and FORTUNE magazines, and held publicrelations positions with Niagara Power Co. and Pan American Airways. In WWII, he was a It. commander in the navy, serving in the Pacific. After the war, he continued in publicrelations positions, with Jersey Central Power and Morristown Trust Co. He moved to Seattle in 1957, joining the finance department of Boeing. He retired in 1968 to write CANDLES IN THE BOARD Room. He was a brother of the late Stephen Little '24 and a brotherinlaw of Rae Clarke '25.

Robin died at home in Bellevue, Wash. His wife of 66 years, Mary Clarke, was always at his side. He is survived by six children (Robin K. '50, Priscilla Jane Brown, Stephanie Rae McAlister, Lois Rasmussen, Mary Dorothea Cutting, and Lawrence E. '68), 21 grandchildren, and 20 greatgrandchildren.
