ED DELAFIELD DIED Dec. 16, 1993, in Sarasota, Fla., where he had made his home for 18 years. He prepared for college at Pomfret, and left Princeton at the end of sophomore year, continuing his education at the Univ. of Colorado.

Ed spent his entire career in the bookpublishing business in N.Y.C., with Lothrop, Lee and Shepard Co., and with Crown Publishers, Inc., where he retired as V.P. He lived in Norwalk and Westport, Conn.

Ed married Margaret Stunkel May 19, 1945. They had two daughters, Elizabeth Mathews and Robin. There is one grandson. Ed's father was Class of 1899 at Princeton. Other Princeton relatives include uncle John R. 1896, brother Maturin L. '23, cousin John W. '27, and several nephews and cousins. Ed was at our 50th reunion.
