Edward H. Rihbany ’27

Body

DIED May 14, 1990. He was one of many Princetonians who were brought up in parsonages. His father served as a minister in the Church of the Disciples. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio (July 28, 1905), but came to OId Nassau from metropolitan Boston. There he left a distinguished record at the Brookline High School, for service on the student council, for publications, and on the rifle team. As a Princeton freshman he won numerals as a rifle expert.

Ed was eager to be a business man, and in June 1925 he left Princeton to tackle courses at Harvard Business School. Due to his conservative Bay State heritage, Ed was a predestined Unitarian in religion and a Republican in politics.

Unfortunately, Ed did not keep in contact with the Class, and so we have little information about him after he left Princeton. Ed is listed in 1927's NASSAU HERALD but is not included in any of the Class of 1927 later biographical volumes.
