ED BROWN DIED in Florida July 14, 1994. He was born in West Orange, N.J. Dec. 23, 1906, the son of a locomotive engineer with the Erie R.R. He prepared at the West Orange H.S., where he was president of the senior class and on the basketball team. He majored in economics at Princeton, having won several scholarships. He went on to Columbia Law School and practiced in Newark until he retired in 1971, when he moved to Sun City, Fla., and later to Park Ridge.

He married Norma Buhler in 1935. Their two sons, Bruce E. '59 and Frederick G. '63 are both physicians and both now live in Florida. There are five grandsons and two granddaughters. His beloved wife died in 1990. His sons pay heartfelt tribute to his honesty, respect, truth, and the Ten Commandments. The class extends its deepest sympathy to his family and many admirers.
