ED GALLOWAY DIED at age 8 1, Jan. 5, 1994, in Springfield, Mo., where his daughter Kathy Harms lives. He had heart problems for many years.

Ed came to Princeton from the Irving School, played 150lb. football and various other sports at Princeton, and was an undergraduate manager of Key and Seat Club. Having majored in economics, he pursued a career in accounting, obtained a C.P.A. at Northwestern, and retired in 1968 as controller of City Products Corp., headquartered in Chicago. Ed spent four years in naval intelligence in the Pacific theater during WWII,

Ed married Clerc Heaton in Montclair, N.J., in 1947, and they had three children, Susan, Ned, and Kathy. They also had four grandchildren. Lawrence '39 is his brother. After his business career, Ed and Clerc built a retirement complex in Mill Spring, N.C., and Ed golfed at Tryon Country Club, while Clerc kept the home fires burning. He and Clerc enjoyed 25 years of happy retirement living. They traveled, visited children and grandchildren, and led active lives. The class sends sincere sympathy to Clerc and their children.
