Edwin E. Eubanks Jr. ’74

Body

Our classmate Edwin Eubanks died July 6, 2007.

After Princeton, Edwin studied at Oxford and Stanford and gained distinction in medicine at Cambridge University. He also spent two years in Austria teaching art history, philosophy, and creative writing.
He practiced internal medicine at Kaiser San Francisco, where he received the Ray Hively Award for humanitarianism. Edwin then practiced with Redwood Regional Oncology in Petaluma for nine years and more than earned his reputation as the county’s “beloved doctor.” As evidence of his service to the community, Redwood Regional Oncology has been renamed Edwin Eubanks Cancer Center.

Our condolences go to his wife, Deborah, and his two children, Jemma and Emily.
