ELISI IA DIED May 8, 1992, after a long illness. He had left Princeton before graduation, but then did extensive study and travel in France, Switzerland, and Italy, his fields being art, languages, and political science. He settled on Long Island and commuted to work at Harris Upham. During WWII lie was in Army intelligence and won battle stars in North Africa and Italy. After the war lie again lived in Europe, for two years. He was extremely active in Public service, including positions as chairman of the Cooper Union Museums, president of the Theodore Roosevelt Assn., and V.R of the Museum of the City of New York. He belonged to the Piping Rock Club and was a governor of the Knickerhocker Club in New York. In 1928 he married Katharine Whittaker, and she survives, together with their two children, Grace Dyer Aarons and Elisha Jr. The Class extends sincere sympathy to them.
