Body

GENE BACHRAN DIED May 10, 1994. He prepared at Princeton Prep. At Princeton, he majored in psychology, managed the fencing team, and belonged to Theatre Intime and the Triangle Club. After graduation, he worked in real estate and insurance with a real-estate firm in Philadelphia. He also sang with a church choir and with other singing groups.

After he retired in 1978, he married wife Betty and they had traveled extensively, including the class's trip ("French Affair") to Vezelay, France, in 1984. Gene's hobbies included woodworking, furniture refinishing, growing African violets, and playing bridge and golf.

Gene is survived by his widow, Betty; two stepsons and daughters-in-law; and one granddaughter. To them, the class extends its deep sympathy.
