Ezra Sharp died Oct. 27, 2011.

Ezra was born April 22, 1928, in Philadelphia and came to Princeton from Moorestown High School. Several of his relatives were Princeton graduates. He majored in basic engineering and played 150-pound football and interclub sports. He waited on tables in Commons and joined Key and Seal Club. He roomed at 154 Witherspoon with Russell E. Randall Jr.

Ezra stayed on at Princeton to earn a master’s degree in engineering, then spent 27 years with Union Carbide in manufacturing management. He then retired to raising Christmas trees in New Jersey, hunting in Pennsylvania, and fishing in Florida, where he had a retirement home in Cedar Key.

Ezra never married. He is survived by a best friend, Dorothy A. Overk, to whom the class extends its condolences and best wishes.
