Ford died of cardiac arrest Dec. 6, 1999, in Houston. He came to Princeton from Andover and spent two years with us. He graduated from the U. of Texas with BA and LLB degrees.

His career in Houston was one of major accomplishments in business and sports. He was a banker for over 30 years and an avid golfer. He also earned letters in track and field at Andover and Princeton.

Among his abiding interests, Ford was pres. of the Contemporary Arts Museum's board, v.p. of the Houston Symphony Society, on the board of the Alley Theatre and the Society for the Performing Arts, in addition to heading the Houston chapter of the Confrerie des Chavaliers du Tastevin.

Ford is survived by Patricia, his wife of 45 years, his son, Ford III, and his granddaughter, Julia.

The class mourns the passing of this multitalented classmate.
