Body

FRANK TOSH DIED July 2, 1994. He was from Tamaqua, Penn., and attended Mercersburg Academy. He did not finish his Princeton undergraduate studies and once observed "one of the deepest regrets of my life was my failure to graduate from Princeton as a member of the Class of 1940! So be iC'

During WWII, Frank served with the army air corps as a photo intelligence operative in the European Theater. After that, he entered the commercial art field. From 195065, he was art director with Brooks and London Advertising and then for a brief period had his own firm.

He next joined the sales department of PhilcoFord Corp., which provided travel opportunities. In 1980, Frank became art director for Printing Services, Inc., of Philadelphia. At Printing Services, Inc., Fraides responsibilities ranged from budget management to supervision of literature production for trade shows and conventions. When he retired, he was a sales-promotion manager of consumer electronics for PhilcoFord.

Travel, sailing, labrador retrievers, and enjoyment of bigband music figured largely among Frank's personal interests. He and wife Madelaine lived in Oredale, Penn., for most of their married life; they had no children. The class extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to Madelaine over the loss of Frank.
