Fred died July 4, 2016.

Born in Detroit, Mich., he attended Cooley High School in Detroit. His Princeton major was in the Woodrow Wilson School, and he was a member of Charter Club. Fred joined the Army after graduation and served in the Korean War. After his tour of duty, he earned a divinity degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Fred was ordained in the First Presbyterian Church in Newbery, Mich. He went on to serve churches in Michigan, Ohio, and Wyoming.

Fred married Nancy Zagelmeier in 1998. After her death in 2015, he moved back to Cody, Wyo., to be closer to family and friends. He loved reading, writing sermons, music, and telling fish stories.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah; son Mark; and four grandchildren. The class is honored by his service to our country.
