FRED PRINCE died May 28, 1991, in Bloomfield Township, Mich., where he had lived for many years.

Fred was born June 25, 1911, in Hartford, Conn. He prepared at Salisbury. In college he was a member of Court Club, and roomed with Bill Phyfe.

After college Fred became a financial analyst in New York. He later joined the Bendix Corp., in Detroit, of which he became treasurer.

Fred was very active in the Episcopal Church, both in his parish and in the Diocese of Michigan. After retirement from Bendix, he joined the Bishop's staff as a financial adviser, continuing until shortly before his death.

On June 14, 1934, Fred married Gertrude Ennis. Fred and Gertrude were frequent attenders of football games and reunions. She died in 1989. They had one daughter, Jane Prince, who survives.

On April 21, 1990, Fred married Glenna Hewlett Farrell, who survives, as do Fred's four stepchildren.
