FRED DIED July 6, 1991, of pneumonia following a spinal fusion operation in Daytona Beach.

He left Princeton after sophomore year to enter the family business, Eastern Tool & Manufacturing Co. of Belleville, NJ. At retirement he was chairman of the Board of ETAMCO Industries and its affiliates.

Fred had a lifelong interest in music; he was in chapel choir and Triangle Club at Princeton, and in various church choirs and choral groups later on. He was active in '35 alumni functions in Florida and elsewhere.

He is survived by his widow, Miriam (Mimi), with whom he would have celebrated his 50th anniversary in Oct. 1991; two daughters, Sandra Donaldson and Tina Haselton; two brothers and a sister, C. Rudolf'28, Alfred, and Elsa Ware; and four grandchildren; to whom the Class extends its sympathy.
