Gary D. Aronson ’76

Body

[node:field-image-collection:0:render] Gary died Aug. 24, 2022, in San Diego following a long and resolute battle with cancer.

He came to Princeton from the Haverford School in Pennsylvania. Gary entered with the Class of 1976 but decided to leave during the spring semester of his sophomore year. He transferred to UCLA, where he earned his bachelor of science degree followed by joint MBA/JD degrees.

Gary went on to found, or help build, 10 health care-related companies, all designed to further his lifelong passion to reverse the human aging process and to help find a cure for cancer.

A world traveler, Gary frequently visited Ukraine. The most recent of the companies he founded, Rejuvenation Therapeutics, hired almost exclusively Ukrainian employees. During his final six months, he helped many of his employees relocate to Paris, Amsterdam, and other safe destinations. Gary’s love for his family was strong, and he never missed a family holiday.

The class sends condolences to his sisters, Sharyl Grayson and Sandra Morris, and to his nieces and nephews.
