Geoffrey D. Dunkak ’56

Body

JEFF DUNKAK, one of the more gregarious and outgoing members of the class, passed away Feb. 8, 1994. Jeff, born in Baltimore, came to Princeton from the Gilman School. He majored in art, joined Cap and Gown, and was a member of the 21 Club.

After graduation, Jeff took a year of further study at the Graduate School of Intl. Management before going to work for the Insurance Co. of North America in Philadelphia. Jeff and his family lived in Europe, Princeton, Connecticut, and Ohio, before moving to Texas, where he resided in Dallas at the time of his death. He was involved in various business endeavours, most of them connected with the insurance industry.

Jeff had wide interests; he loved sports and had a unique flair for cooking and photography. He enjoyed travel and had a great sense of humor, as his many friends can attest.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ann; his father, Elmer B. '25; his brother E. B. Jr. '54; and his children Geoffrey D. Jr. and Brett Elise Lumbley. To them all, the class sends its sympathy.
