GEORGE DIED Nov. 9, 1992, in Palm Beach, Fla., his home for more than 35 years. At the time of his death, he was still practicing medicine as medical director at the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adults in Palm Beach, a post he had held for more than 30 years.

George came to Princeton from Lawrenceville and graduated with honors in biology. He was also a member of Cap and Gown Club. He received his M.D. from Northwestern Medical School in 1945 and served as a lieutenant j.g. in the Naval Medical Corps. He trained at the Oschner Medical Foundation and Herman Kiefer Hospital in Detroit in general and thoracic Surgery. He left the surgical field in 1961, after he was diagnosed as having multiple sclerosis. After extensive training in rehabilitative medicine in N.Y.C., lie joined the Rehabilitation Center in Palm Beach.

A dedicated Princetonian, George was an avid fisheran, sportsman, and bird watcher. To his widow, Eleanor, the Class offers its deepest sympathies.
