GEORGE INGERSOLL Hagar died Dec. 24, 1992, after a long illness at his home in Burlington, Vt.

George came to Princeton from Phillips Exeter Academy and roomed with John Ramsey in Henry Hall. He was a member of the Arbor Inn Club. He left Princeton in June 1926 to take a job with Weed & Co. in Buffalo. In 1951, he became president of his family's business, Hagar Hardware & Paint Co., in Burlington, a position he held until his retirement some years ago.

He was also V.P. of Automotive Wholesalers of New England and past president of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.

In 1932, he married Catherine Bassett and they had two daughters, Mary Currier and Harriet Dietrich. George is also survived by six grandchildren, including John Currier III '79.

The class extends its sympathy to George's friends and family.
