George died Aug. 24, 2014, in East Berlin, Pa.

He came to Princeton after graduating from Roselle (N.J.) High School and spending time in the Navy and Air Force. He majored in electrical engineering and was a member of Dial Lodge. During his senior year he roomed with his fellow clubmate, Frank McDonnell.

George was a successful businessman. He was owner of the former Galt Controls Inc. (an environmental-controls company) in York, Pa., for 37 years, and also the owner of MST Ltd., located in Barbados, for 27 years.

Full military rites by the York County honor guard were performed prior to George’s memorial service.

He is survived by three daughters, Cynthia, Kira, and Jody; one son, Tod; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. To them all, the class extends its sincerest condolences.
