George King Churchill ’21

Body

GEORGE DIED at the age of 93 on July 12, 1989, at his summer home in Water Mill, N.Y. He was born in N.Y.C. and prepared for college at St. Pauls School, in Concord, N.H.

He left Princeton during freshman year but continued his interest in the class and affection for Princeton. He served for several years in the Naval Aviation Corps and then entered the financial field in N.Y.C. George sold his seat on the Curb Exchange in 1947 and switched to selling automobiles in Florida in the winter and in New Jersey in the summer. After he retired from an active business career, he moved to N.Y.C. and spent summers on Long Island.

He is survived by his widow Mary, a sister-in-law, and a nephew, John M. '65, to whom the class extends sincere sympathy.
