GEORGE MCMORAN DIED of cancer on Jan. 28, 1994, in his hometown, Greenwich, Conn. George came to Princeton from Bloomfield (N.J.) H.S. and majored in history. He was an active member of Cloister and roomed with Alan Korhammer and Ted Rissell.

Following graduation, George went to work as a reporter for the ASBURY PARK PRESS, but soon went into public relations, a field in which he specialized for the rest of his life. At various times he was V.P. for public affairs of Cheseboro ugh Pond's Inc. and V.P. of BursonMars teller, Inc., the world's largest publicrelations agency, and for 16 years, he was the principal of his own agency, McMoran Associates, Inc. At the time of his death, George was director of media relations for Towers Perrin, an international management consulting firm.

George, a former Greenwich townmeeting representative and Greenwich Arts Council director, was active in Princeton alumni affairs and was often seen at class activities. He enjoyed golf and tennis and recently visited several classic Scottish courses.

George is survived by his widow, Betty, and two daughters, Cynthia Czaja and Patricia. To them, the class extends its sympathy for their loss.
