Gregory Woodward Cramer ’68

Body

He came to Princeton from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill., majored in economics, and ate at Charter. After a stint in the Army, Greg attended Chicago Business School. He ran his own firm in Chicago, Options Management Strategies.

His favorite activities were bicycling, computers, travel, all Chicago sports, and Princeton Reunions. His reunion attendance was virtually unequalled; he once rode his bike from Chicago to Reunions! He had missed our 40th because of the cancer, but got the hat and shirt.

He was an enthusiastic class contributor who served on the board of governors and was immersed in the computer technology of class governance and reunion administration. He also was an avid audiophile, collecting music of every genre, especially Chicago-style blues, which he loved to talk about. He was often an unintentional model in ads filmed at Berghoff’s in Chicago and even appeared on a Chicago Board Options Exchange poster.

He is survived by his mother, Corlita; his sister, Randa Lee; brothers Christopher and Jack; two nieces; and a nephew. To them, the class extends profound sympathy.
