AFTER A VALIANT BATTLE with stomach cancer, Lynn Boardman passed away at his home in Pacific, Mo., on Nov. 15, 1993.

Lynn was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Albany, N.Y., and attended Albany Academy, where he played football, basketball, and baseball, and was a member of the Beck Literary Society. He served in the navy from July 1945July 1946 in the Asian and Pacific Theaters. At Princeton, he majored in biology and was a member of Cottage Club.

Lynn married Ruth Hesser and they subsequently had three children. They divorced, and he later married Vicki Konomos from whom he also divorced. He married Sherrill Armijo some 17 years ago.

Lynn began his business career as a salesman of padding and gasketing products for the Albany Felt Co., and then became southern manager for Western Felt Works. In the late 1950s, he was cofounder of Leander and Boardman, representatives of manufacturers of plastic and component products. He later headed Lynn Boardman Co. and Boardman Associates.

For many years, Lynn flew his own plane, owned a farm, and enjoyed horseback riding. He held a patent on a portable impactstrength recorder.

He is survived by Sherrill, sons H. Lynn Jr. and Mark '72, daughter Michele Harrelson, four stepchildren, two sisters, and six grandchildren. We extend our sympathies to them all in their loss.
