VERN DIED June 8, 1993, in Bradenton, Fla. He prepared at Morristown H.S. While at Princeton, he was a member of the class basketball team' University Club, and the band. Vern joined the advertising firm of Albert FrankGuenther Law, Inc., in New York before entering the army in 1941. He was discharged in 1946 as a captain.

After the war, Vern took courses at New York Univ. toward his M.B.A. degree. He joined the American Stock Exchange and was associated with it for 31 years, retiring as V.P. and secretary in 1974. Vern was a loyal Princetonian and '31er. When he moved to Florida, he was known as "Tiger." He was a member of the Princeton Club of Sarasota and put together our minireunion there. He also attended our reunions at Princeton. He is survived by his widow, Phyllis, to whom the class sends its sincere condolences.
