Hamman David Brown ’54

Body

Born in Dallas, Texas, he graduated from North Dallas High School. At Princeton, he was a member of Charter Club and played varsity basketball. Ham left Princeton to join the Army and served in Korea.

He subsequently started a long career in the travel industry, first working for Pan American Airways in Atlanta and subsequently becoming travel manager for Schenley Industries in New York City. In 1968 he joined Braniff Airlines to become its Northern California operations director. In 1975 he formed Brown’s World Travel in Texas and worked there until his retirement in 1998.

The class extends its condolences to Ham’s wife, Amada; his son, Paul, and his wife, Dodie; and grandchildren Wade, Emmett, and Joshua.
