Harry Claxton McCray Jr. ’55

Body

Harry died Nov. 28, 2009.

He was born in Kansas City, Mo., and graduated from Pembroke Country Day School. At Princeton he majored in economics, was a member of Colonial, and roomed with Bob McClanahan, Bill Roemer, and Bob Coever senior year. He also was a good friend of Tim Kilty.

Harry was especially involved with his family and in various civic and charity activities, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Pembroke School, and Children’s Mercy Hospital.

To Tinka, his wife of 52 years; his five children; 14 grandchildren; sister; and many friends, the class extends its sympathy.
