A loyal and active member of the Class of 1949, Harvey died Aug. 18, 2019, at Princeton Medical Center. Born in Plainfield, N.J., Harvey graduated from Plainfield High School, came to the University in July of 1945, and never really left Princeton. As a biology major, he graduated magna cum laude and went to Harvard Medical School. While an undergraduate Harvey was active in track, served on the Nassau Sovereign board, joined the Student Hebrew Association, and belonged to Prospect Club.

After his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvey spent three years in the Army Medical Corps and joined the Princeton Medical Group in 1960. A specialist in oncology and hematology, he remained in the Princeton area for the rest of his life. His professional activities in the Princeton area and in New Jersey are very well known.

Above all, Harvey was a loyal alumnus, attending many University lectures and football games, being a docent at the University Art Museum, and (perhaps most impressively) chairing our 70th reunion.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Nancy; and his three daughters. We offer our sympathy and respect to all of them.
