Henry Littleton Page Jr. ’22

Body

HENRY (HANK) Littleton Page, a retired coal executive, died June 14, 1989, in Union Memorial Hospital in the Baltimore area. Hank was born at Plattsburgh Barracks on March 9, 1901. He started in business at Wilson & Page in Panama City, Fla., and married Mary Emily Hawkins, who survives him. When the World War broke out, he enlisted as a seaman first class in the Navy and worked his way up to lieutenant, j.g. He saw active duty until the end of the war. Upon his release from service, he went back into coal handling, becoming, in 1964, export manager for Consolidation Coal Co., from which he retired in 1966. He then retired to Gibson Island, where he concentrated on sailing. He was a warm and friendly person. He lived on Gibson Island until ill health forced him and his wife to move to a retirement home in Baltimore.

To his widow we send our sincere sympathy.
