Henry P. Cannon II ’33

HANK CANNON DIED of pneumonia Jan. 31, 1994. He lived all his life on the Dale Farm in Bridgeville, Del., and spent his career with the family farming and canning businesses, except for two years in the Navy during the war.

He came to Princeton from Choate, belonged to Key and Seal Club, and roomed for three years with Tom Snyder. Hank was active in civic and Princeton affairs in Delaware, and was a senior warden at his church. He listed as his hobbies gardening, riding horses, reading, and travel. His son Maurice is a member of the Class of '71. He is survived by his widow, Charlotte, whom he married in Wilmington in 1941. To her, sons Henry and Maurice, and daughter Kate, the class extends its sincere sympathy.
