Henry Raymond Hamilton McAllen ’60

Henry died Dec. 7, 2007, from complications following cancer surgery. He resided in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Henry was born in Chicago and prepared for Princeton at Lancaster (Ohio) High School. At Princeton, he was a member of Court Club, ROTC, and Whig-Clio. He withdrew from Princeton in June 1958 and continued his studies at Ohio University and the University of Michigan Law School, from which he graduated in 1964. Henry practiced law in Columbus, Ohio, until 1979 and then was in private practice in Fort Lauderdale. His sister, Louise McAllen; his niece, Lily McAllen; and his partner of 14 years, Shelley Jean Wood, survive Henry. The class extends its sympathy to them.
