HOMER DIED at 96 Aug. 2, 1992, in the Broomall, Penn., Presbyterian Home. He had practiced law in Philadelphia from 1923 until he retired from MacCoy, Evans and Lewis in 1971. He was born in Williamsburg, Penn., and graduated from the Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J. At Princeton, he was a member of the Glee Club, the Speakers'Assn., Whig Hall ' the senior class soccer team, and Key and Seal. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1923.

Homer was an infantry sergeant in WWI. He fought in the Argonne, and was shelled and gassed.

His postwar career included 12 years as chairman of the board of the Presbyterian Church of Ardmore, chairman of the Main Line Y.M.C.A., and chairman of the Wynnewood Civic Assn.

Homer's wife Marjorie died in 1991. He is survived by Homer 111, daughters Elizabeth Barber and Barbara Rennix, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
