HORACE D. "BUD" KLEIN, 84, died Aug. 8, 1992, in Shell Point Village, Fla. He graduated from St. Paul Academy. While at Princeton, he played hockey, was advertising manager of the TIGER, managed the combined Glee and Banjo Clubs, was on the NASSAU HERALD board, and was a member of Tower. During his four years he roomed with David B. Crane.

Upon graduation, he joined the Webb Publishing Co. in St. Paul, from which he retired in 1968. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 and held the rank of lieutenant commander when he returned to civilian life.

He was a member of the Somerset Club and University Club of St. Paul, and of the Princeton Club of New York. He enjoyed traveling and particularly enjoyed attending our Florida winter reunions.

He is survived by is widow, Caroline; daughter Kate; sons Blair '61 and Allan '68; sister Virginia Doerr; and nine grandchildren.

The Class of'31 sends condolences to Bud's family.
