HUGO, AT AGE 76, died Nov. 1, 1991, at home in East Orange, NJ.

He prepared at the Pingry School, and at Princeton lie majored in political science and was a member of Key and Seal Club. He attended Columbia Law School and was a partner in the firm of Gedney, Seaman and Hilgendorff, of Florham Park, NJ. He was a member of the New Jersey Bar for over 50 years,

During WWII he served four years in the U.S. Army, being discharged as a major in the judge Advocate General Corps.

Hugo was an avid sailor and was skipper of his own boat in eight NewporttoBermuda races. He was a member of the N.Y. Yacht Club, Storm Trysail and Sayville Yacht Club.

Surviving are his widow, the former Alice Bannerman, whom he married in 1939; sons Hugo A. III '61, Peter B., and David N. '67; a sister, Elizabeth H. Wright; and five grandchildren.

We last saw Hugo at our 50th reunion. We will indeed miss this fine classmate.
