J. Andrew Green ’92

Andy was born April 19, 1970, in Alexandria, Minn., the youngest son of Fred and Maxine Green. At Princeton, he majored in ecology and evolutionary biology and joined the golf team and Cap and Gown Club.

After graduation, Andy attended Dartmouth Medical School from which he graduated in 1996. He moved to Minneapolis, Minn. to complete his residency. In keeping with his caring personality, Andy began his career practicing medicine as a family physician, bringing fun and laughter to the clinics and hospitals where he worked.

Andy met his wife, Kris (Gettler), in the fall of 1996. They married in July 1999 and had two sons, Ben and Lucas. An energetic father, Andy showered his sons with attention and love. His gentle goodness touched the life of every person who had the good fortune of knowing him.
